Wealth & human psychology
International Wealth Management
More than two decades working with wealth, families and financial decision-making taught me how deeply money is connected to identity, security, freedom, power and relationships.
About Andrea
I have always been curious about people — who we are beyond our roles, achievements and expectations, and what becomes possible when the life we create begins to reflect who we truly are.
Andrea Mathis — Founder of SOULINATE

My journey
For more than two decades, I worked in international private banking, wealth management, leadership and transformation — alongside successful individuals, entrepreneurs and wealthy families across cultures.
This world gave me a unique perspective on human nature. Beyond financial decisions, I became fascinated by how our beliefs about money, success and identity shape our choices, relationships and the lives we create.
Over time, I came to understand that external success and inner fulfilment do not always go hand in hand. What increasingly captured my interest was the potential within each individual — the values, aspirations and deeper qualities that may not yet have found their fullest expression.

Because what matters most is not only what we have achieved, but who we are — and who we have the potential to become.
Experience & expertise
Two decades across international finance, leadership, entrepreneurship, coaching and transformation have shaped the perspective I bring to my work today.

This work gave me another perspective on individuality, authentic strengths, decision-making and how people can contribute naturally within teams and organisations.
04
Agile Coach
My work in transformation brought together people, organisations and change — including the human and emotional dimensions of process optimisation, digitalisation and artificial intelligence.
05
My professional journey included leadership roles in the financial industry, establishing a South African subsidiary of a Swiss wealth-management company, and later co-founding Amunra Capital in Switzerland together with my husband.
06
Swiss Board of Directors education
This added another perspective on strategic leadership, organisational responsibility, governance and long-term decision-making.
Different disciplines taught me different languages.
But they all taught me to see people.
Roots & perspectives
Where my sensitivity to people, places and the feeling of home first began.
I grew up in Engelberg in the Swiss Alps, the eldest of seven children. My childhood was traditional, peaceful and deeply connected to nature — in many ways reminiscent of the Swiss story of Heidi: mountains, simplicity, family and a sense of freedom.
Life later took me far beyond those mountains. I lived in the United States, Cuba and South Africa, spent more than twenty years in Zurich and travelled extensively, learning to feel at home across very different cultures.
Since October 2025, my husband and I have called Abu Dhabi home.
Every place has taught me how profoundly our surroundings shape who we are, how we feel — and how differently the idea of home can be expressed.

The inner journey
Alongside my professional journey, another kind of understanding was taking shape.
For many years, I have explored meditation, yoga, consciousness and personal development.
These practices changed the way I listen — not only to words, but to what is felt, avoided, repeated or left unspoken. They taught me to recognise subtle emotional patterns without rushing to fix them, and deepened my awareness and intuition.
Above all, they strengthened my trust in something I had sensed for a long time: meaningful change often begins beneath the visible surface.
Today, this inner development and my professional experience meet in my work.
Where intuition, psychology, strategy and creativity meet.
My philosophy
I have always been fascinated by who we are beyond our roles, achievements and expectations — and by the deeper qualities, aspirations and possibilities that are waiting to be expressed.
Our surroundings tell a story about us. They reflect our choices, relationships and memories, but sometimes also identities we have outgrown. I believe that meaningful transformation begins when we become more conscious of what truly matters and what no longer reflects who we are.
My work brings together psychology, intuition, strategic thinking and a deep sensitivity to people and places. I help people discover what feels authentic to them and translate that understanding into meaningful choices, relationships and environments that reflect their true essence.

Sometimes, changing your perspective changes your environment. And sometimes, changing your environment changes you.
